Most people get very excited when they are purchasing a home especially their first home. This can be a timely process and therefore many times a relationship is born between the buyer and the broker. When gettting a home mortgage try to separate business from pleasure with your broker and read between the lines. From what I have read and listened to on the radio lately, there are alot of broken promises. A home loan lender, actually several of them are even promising to put a new car in the driveway of the new house. Also beware of low mortgage payment because this often changes to a higher one. A first mortgage and even second mortgage should not bury you.
